Proven leadership in developing and scaling marketing data models, single customer views, and audience segmentation strategies across digital channels is required. Expertise in marketing technology platforms such as CDPs, DMPs, DSPs, CRM, and analytics tools is essential, along with a strong understanding of data privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA, and ethical data practices. The ideal candidate is solutions-oriented, proactive, adaptable, skilled in managing and delivering technical projects including complex migrations, and possesses an outstanding ability to think creatively, solve complex problems, navigate ambiguity, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence without authority, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills, are also necessary.
The Director of CRM Data & Audiences will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on Marketing Data Platforms, offering insights and recommendations to support evolving business goals. This role is responsible for the global technical strategy and execution of marketing data and audience segmentation across Expedia Group brands, translating team needs into measurable business outcomes. Key duties include partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics teams to co-design and implement scalable architectural solutions for audience and data pipelines, owning the Traveler Engagement team's roadmap for marketing data infrastructure, particularly concerning Salesforce Data Cloud. The Director will define technical requirements for solution implementations, act as an expert advisor to Product and Engineering teams for marketing operations and technology, support digital innovation and best practices, and champion data governance, privacy compliance, and ethical data use. Additionally, the role involves developing and mentoring a high-performing team of marketing data specialists.
