Responsibilities

  • Analyze and have in-depth understanding of evolving privacy and data protection laws and regulations (GLBA, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, etc.) and related client contractual requirements (e.g., data acquisition/collection, usage, transfer, etc.) to assist in compliance efforts with respect to same (20%)
  • Assist in maintaining privacy-related policies, standards, guidelines, and processes (10%)
  • Assist with analysis of data procured for use in products and services, including ensuring proper collection, consent when required, scope of permissible uses, etc. (10%)
  • Assist with responding to internal inquiries regarding data governance and data usage to ensure compliance with privacy regulations, Company privacy policies, and client contractual requirements (10%)
  • Liaise with Vendor Security Risk Management team to ensure privacy compliance (10%)
  • Assist with Company’s data governance efforts, including privacy impact assessments and processes around appropriate deletion/destruction of data (15%)
  • Primary responsibility for Company’s consumer privacy request process and responses to consumers, including client inquiries related to consumer rights requests (25%)
