Requirements

Candidates must possess an advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master's) in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, or Statistics, or have equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in a quantitative field is required, with at least 5-7 years in senior leadership roles managing multiple teams. Proven experience in defining, building, and scaling high-performing data science and analytics organizations in fast-paced environments is essential, along with deep expertise in advanced machine learning, statistical modeling, experimental design, and causal inference. A history of spearheading deep research initiatives that deliver innovative, production-ready models and drive significant business value is also required.

Responsibilities

The VP of Data Science and Analytics will shape the strategic direction of data initiatives and research projects, driving the delivery of high-impact solutions that influence business outcomes and empower providers in value-based care. This role involves leading, mentoring, and developing a team of DS&A managers and Principal Data Scientists, fostering their professional growth. Responsibilities include defining the team's multi-year research trajectory, establishing robust frameworks for research and operational efficiency, and collaborating with Engineering to build a scalable MLOps environment. The VP will pioneer the application of Generative AI within DS&A operations and communicate complex technical concepts and strategic initiatives clearly to executive leadership, investors, and external partners.
