Technical proficiency in SQL/Python and experience interacting with modern database systems are essential. A proven track record of delivering high-impact analyses, driving measurable business improvements, and experience designing/building core data sets, dashboards, and BI infrastructure are necessary. Strong financial modeling and simulation skills are also required.
The Director of Analytics and Business Optimization will lead the design, execution, and scaling of the analytics function, initially driving high-impact analyses for business optimization and eventually building and leading a team. Responsibilities include performing end-to-end analytics across payment operations, chart review workflows, and customer performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities. The role involves designing foundational data assets, building and maintaining base data sets, aggregates, and pipelines, and creating business dashboards in partnership with engineering and product teams. The Director will also run simulations and financial models to predict the impact of business decisions, deliver ad hoc insights to answer urgent questions, and collaborate cross-functionally to translate business problems into analytical approaches. Additionally, the role includes hiring, mentoring, and managing a team of analysts, and establishing best practices in analytics to promote data-driven decision-making and a culture of accountability and innovation.
