Requirements

Candidates must possess 6+ years of practical experience with strong analytical and project management skills, along with mathematical and statistical abilities. Proficiency in SQL and experience managing big data and building dashboards using DOMO, Tableau, or Data Studio are required. Familiarity with R or Python for advanced analytics is a plus. A BA/BS degree and a proactive, customer-service attitude are necessary. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are beneficial. A strong interest in new technologies and a good understanding of the digital music ecosystem are also required.

Responsibilities

The Director, Analytics will mine data from various sources to analyze market trends, sales information, and consumer data across digital music platforms. They will produce recommendations and action plans to optimize sales and marketing, identify key challenges and opportunities, and manage relationships with central data teams. The role involves sharing regular analysis and insights with commercial and marketing teams, preparing ad-hoc reports and presentations, and developing data analysis tools and dashboards to interpret trends and summarize campaign performance.
