Requirements

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience managing an analytics or data science team, preferably within a B2C tech company. This role requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable with approximately 50% individual contributor work, possessing hands-on experience with modern BI/data visualization tools like Looker or Omni, and A/B testing platforms such as Eppo or Optimizely. Expertise in SQL and strong knowledge of statistics are essential, with Python or R being a plus. Excellent communication skills are needed to convey complex concepts verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

The Senior Analytics Manager will build and lead company-wide analytics efforts, partnering with Product, Business, Machine Learning, and Data Engineering teams. Responsibilities include managing, hiring, and mentoring a team of analysts and data scientists, developing and owning the analytics roadmap, and executing complex strategic analytics initiatives. The role also involves owning analytics tool selection and best practices, and championing a data-driven culture by providing self-serve tools and dashboards to empower company teams.
