Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management expertise, emphasizing digital initiatives within manufacturing settings
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence) and familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies
  • Proven proficiency in guiding diverse teams, comprising engineers, IT experts, and external suppliers, through complex digital projects
  • Good understanding of different software development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and iterative development
  • Experience with industrial automation, IoT (Internet of Things) technologies, and analytics software
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills with internal customers and all levels of management in a non-technical manner
  • Travel requirement of 10%
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in leading all aspects of large-scale transformation initiatives within the production environment
  • Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), SAFe, or Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience in the Life Sciences and/or manufacturing domain

Responsibilities

  • Lead digital transformation projects aimed at improving manufacturing procedures, integrating factory automation, IoT integration, Digital Performance Management (DPM), Manufacturing Execution systems (MES) and Advanced data analytics tools
  • Develop comprehensive project roadmaps that clearly lay out objectives, timelines, and milestones for integrating digital tools and solutions into the manufacturing environment
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, process engineers, continuous improvement specialists, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the seamless integration of digital solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Engage with different manufacturing operations and technical operations teams to understand business processes and build effective solutions
  • Analyze current manufacturing processes to find opportunities for digitization and automation
  • Develop detailed roadmaps and playbooks for each digital transformation project
  • Continuously improve processes and practices by automating manual tasks and improving project execution efficiency
  • Identify potential risks associated to digital projects, such as integration challenges and data security concerns. Develop strong risk mitigation plans
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to digital initiatives, including production efficiency, system uptime, adoption, scalability and cost savings. Produce detailed reports for senior leadership on project results
