Requirements

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of one year of related experience is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history, meeting D.O.T. and F.D.A. standards. Successful completion of Apria Healthcare’s Driver Training Program is also required.

Responsibilities

The Delivery Technician is responsible for pulling, packing, delivering, and picking up medications, supplies, and basic equipment to Apria patients in their homes. They may instruct patients on the use of respiratory therapy and durable medical equipment, load and unload equipment onto the delivery vehicle, respond to emergency delivery calls, complete necessary paperwork, maintain supply component of patient profiles, and notify supervisors of potential safety concerns within the patient’s home. Additionally, they will clean and assist with the repair of equipment, perform routine vehicle maintenance, and report malfunctions to their supervisor, while also performing other duties as required.
