Position Overview
AG Consulting Partners is seeking talented individuals to join our consultant roster for current and upcoming client projects. We are particularly interested in candidates located in Washington State and Texas. This role involves providing expert guidance and support in data analysis, business analysis, business intelligence, reporting, data governance, and data management.
Responsibilities
- Provide analytical guidance and support at a programmatic level, including mapping and documentation of business processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand core business platforms and processes, identify data and analytical requirements, and set strategies for improvement.
- Drive change through data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Perform analytical, design, testing, and managerial tasks associated with information system solutions.
- Gather and analyze business and user requirements.
- Translate stakeholder reporting needs into clear report specifications.
- Document functional requirements, user interaction requirements, and non-functional requirements.
- Create executive-level presentations and communicate complex analytical findings clearly and concisely.
- Define specifications to support software development, quality assurance, support materials, and other downstream processes.
- Manage deliverables and key project components independently, including task definition, work management, and accountability.
- Evaluate processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement necessary updates and enhancements.

Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of progressively complex work in business analysis.
- Residency: Must reside in Washington State or Texas.
- Skills:
- Robust data and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage analytic projects from inception to completion, including planning, insights, recommendations, and ongoing monitoring.
- Extensive experience with Power BI, Excel, or other reporting platforms.
- Ability to present complex technical material to non-technical audiences in an approachable manner.
- Understanding and communication of business relevance to management and leadership teams.
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong technical documentation and user liaison abilities.
- Excellent personal interaction skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working as an FTE or contractor for Microsoft.
- Experience utilizing various SDLC methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, JIRA).
