Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or have at least 5 years of equivalent relevant experience. Expert-level knowledge of Trend Server Protect Platform and Apex One is required, with preferred knowledge of Deep Security. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Defender DLP for Endpoint and Azure is highly desired, as is knowledge of SIEM tools like Splunk. Proficiency in cybersecurity practices, challenges, tools, and techniques is essential, along with in-depth knowledge of critical security controls such as NIST, CIS Benchmarks, and DISA STIG standards. Expertise in infrastructure hardening and security settings for Windows and Linux, as well as intermediate to expert knowledge of Windows & Active Directory and Unix/Linux Operating Systems, is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for the engineering and operational support of an enterprise-wide Endpoint Security Management system and related procedures. This includes securing enterprise-level Cloud services across AWS and Microsoft Azure, identifying core requirements, designing, and implementing Endpoint security technologies, and tuning these technologies to mitigate security threats. The role involves acting as a subject matter expert, working with stakeholders to test, maintain, and enforce security prevention policies, and collaborating with vendors on roadmap development. Key duties include daily administration, capacity planning, tuning security tools for effectiveness, ensuring optimal performance of security tools for timely incident detection and response, and troubleshooting issues to assist incident management teams.
