Candidates must be US Citizens with experience in migrating customers to the cloud, including identity and authentication, Microsoft Security and Compliance tools, attack surface reduction, threat hunting, and Zero Trust. Required knowledge includes identity and access security, syncing identities, Azure Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS), and Azure Active Directory Connect (AADConnect). Experience with Microsoft cloud tools like Defender Suite, MCAS, Azure Sentinel, AIP, DLP, Azure Blueprints, and Office 365 Secure Score is necessary, along with proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, TSQL, and JavaScript. A Bachelor's degree in a technical field and/or five years of experience, along with relevant Azure and Microsoft Cloud certifications, is desired. Experience consulting for government customers and familiarity with Microsoft Data Platform Stack, Privileged Information Management (PIM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Enterprise Apps in Azure, Defender for Identity, Azure ATA, B2B & B2C, Azure MFA, and Azure Conditional Access are also beneficial. Strong technical writing and analysis skills, along with the ability to work remotely, are essential.
The Microsoft Security and Compliance Consultant will act as a primary technical resource for customers adopting Microsoft technologies, understanding various security standards like ISO and interception regulations. Responsibilities include comparing third-party security and compliance solutions, communicating technical prerequisites, and deploying/migrating/refactoring applications for the cloud. The role involves implementing security and compliance tools, providing documentation and training, and continuously learning and sharing knowledge of new Microsoft and non-Microsoft security technologies. Consultants will also lead engineering teams, contribute to effort estimates and risk assessments, map solutions to requirements, and develop repeatable security and compliance offerings. They will participate in presales activities, create technical documentation, collaborate with project managers, and serve as a subject matter expert on multiple projects simultaneously.
