Requirements

  • Degree qualified in any Engineering discipline (minimum 2.2)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to achieve required medical and national security clearance (including HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop support solutions
  • Investigate and resolve customer raised problem reports
  • Deliver specific engineering tasks
  • Run equipment workshops with Royal Navy, Army, and RAF users
  • Develop technical publications and training
  • Assist in repairs on-ship, at customer premises, or back at MBDA
  • Complete 3 x 6-month placements in CSS areas: Supportability engineering, Support engineering, and Support Services
  • Undertake a final placement in a department external to CSS (e.g., Engineering, Business, or external to MBDA such as Ministry of Defence, sub-contractor, or defence think tank)
