About the Role

As a Customer Solutions Architect at Atlan, you’ll be a strategic technical partner to some of the most forward-thinking companies and teams operating in the data space.

As Atlan grows at a rapid pace, we continue to encounter diverse technology stacks, and our customers need our help in integrating Atlan into this stack. Therefore we are scaling our Customer Solutions Architecture group to better integrate Atlan into the customer Landscape.

Atlan is built upon an Open API and the platform is designed for programmatic extension. The Customer Solutions Architecture Team is at the forefront of driving Innovation for our customers using this framework.

As part of the Customer Solutions Architecture team, be part of a highly motivated and driven Customer Experience group working with amazing data teams at customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive value with Atlan - The CSA team works closely with the Atlan Customer Success Manager as well as Customer teams of Data Architects, Data Engineers and Data Platform owners to onboard customers onto Atlan, drive Atlan adoption through Value Streams and use the power of Active Metadata to automate and innovate.
  • Architecture Partnership & Strategy - For customers with large and/or complex data estates, implementing Atlan effectively requires a holistic approach and plan. The CSA serves as a trusted advisor by understanding the customer’s business, analyzing the existing estate & integration needs, and leading strategic workshops to design optimal Atlan architectures for their core use cases. For many customers, this partnership and guidance is not a one-time interaction – it will be an ongoing relationship wherein the CSA continues to gain context over time and provides advice to the customer throughout their journey with Atlan.
  • Custom Solution Discovery & Design - As new needs arise for the customer which cannot be solved by Atlan’s native capabilities, the CSA will work with the customer champion, technical leads, and other key stakeholders to understand the critical aspects and business impact of the problem. The CSA will then scope out and provide recommendations for how Atlan can be part of the solution. Atlan CSAs have deep knowledge of Atlan’s Open API, SDK toolkits, event driven capabilities, and other extensible elements as well as hands-on experience solving similar problems. This enables them to provide customer-relevant guidance at a deep technical level.
  • Technical Enablement - For customers that have the in-house capability to develop solutions that integrate with third-party APIs/SDKs, the Atlan CSA serves as an advisor and accelerator.
