Position Overview

• Salary: $17.00 - $25.65 (Typical pay range)
• Brief Description: This is an exciting opportunity to join CVS Health as a Pharmacy Service Representative within the Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy. You will provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy, coordinating medication orders, verifying benefits, and working with insurance companies and healthcare providers. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to compassionate patient care.

Requirements

• Experience:
  • One year experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone.
  • One year work experience with Windows-based applications (Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications).
  • One year computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude.
• Education: Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy.
• Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders.
• Verify and reverify benefits.
• Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system.
• Collect copay amounts from patients.
• Obtain authorizations from insurance companies.
• Work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with account receivable or clinical issues.
• Effectively communicate with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners to ensure timely processing of specialty medications and meet financial and clinical expectations.

Work Schedule: Seeking individuals open to working a 40-hour shift/schedule anytime Monday - Sunday between 8am-9pm EST. You will be given a set schedule upon offer.
