They should also have a thorough understanding of food safety standards and Sur La Table's policies and procedures, and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
The Culinary Lead will model and direct employees to meet customer service standards, deliver exceptional cooking class experiences, contribute to employee training, maintain sanitary conditions, ensure proper food handling and temperature, communicate Sur La Table policies, provide coaching and performance feedback, increase sales, anticipate and solve problems, stay informed about products and training, ensure accurate employee information, and partner with various departments as needed. They will also handle, serve, and pour beverages and fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by the Resident Chef.
