Candidates must have 10+ years of design and creative leadership experience, ideally in fast-paced, product-led companies or creative studios. A multidisciplinary portfolio spanning brand, digital, physical, and video work is required. The ideal candidate is both a visionary and a doer, comfortable with tools like Figma, Premiere, or After Effects, and possesses a deep understanding of brand presentation across various channels. Experience building and managing high-performing creative teams, comfort working in ambiguity and speed, and a customer-centric approach to creativity are essential. Bonus points for experience designing for or working within developer-first or design-first platforms.
The Creative Director will lead Sanity's brand expression across all touchpoints, setting the creative vision and translating abstract ideas into visual narratives and interactions. This includes leading the creative strategy and execution for web properties, designing immersive brand experiences at events, owning the visual and experiential design of the swag store, and overseeing film production efforts. The role involves managing and growing a creative team, implementing creative operations systems for efficient shipping, and collaborating closely with marketing, product, developer relations, and leadership.
