Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in visual design in an in-house or agency setting and a strong understanding of the formal elements of graphic design, including typography, color, and layout. Experience in brand systems and working with marketing teams is also expected.
The Brand Designer will partner with marketing to produce work across various channels, including email, events, social media, and paid advertising. They will extend and translate brand systems into production-ready assets, explore and maintain a flexible brand system, and collaborate with the brand team to strategically express Retool's visual identity. The role involves championing the brand, presenting work to cross-functional partners, designing through iteration and experimentation, and ensuring brand consistency while seeking opportunities for growth.
