Candidates should have at least 7 years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience in a product-specific area, with experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes. Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions, along with experience collaborating with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services, is required. Territory management skills, including pipeline building and guiding execution with sales counterparts, are also necessary. Travel may be required.
The Solution Consultant will act as a technical and domain expert supporting a client-facing sales team to guide product sales and achieve quarterly and annual sales goals. This role involves developing and positioning product-specific solutions during sales cycles, leading discovery workshops to understand customer challenges, and delivering product demonstrations. Responsibilities also include answering technical questions, providing feedback to product management on product enhancements, sharing best practices with other Solution Consultants, and supporting marketing events such as executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.
