Requirements

  • Legal Degree with 5-8 years of experience in legal and contracting services with working exposure to complex, risky deals across different types of services
  • Working understanding of Contracting principles with experience of contracting in different markets preferred
  • Demonstrates ability to consistently undertake contract drafting to a reasonable standard

Responsibilities

  • Support contracting of different Accenture offerings in designated geographies in a highly autonomous and end-to-end manner, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating various sales/contractual documents like Statements of Work, Subcontract Agreements, Local Country Agreements, Proposals, Change Orders, Teaming Agreements, NDAs, Software License Agreements on Accenture’s standard terms, creation of Due Diligence Memos etc. without supervision
  • Reviewing, negotiating new RFPs and associated T&Cs, MSA/CSAs, Standalone Agreements, Exceptions table etc. in an end-to-end manner with limited to no supervision
  • Working independently on deals and Client accounts liaising with stakeholders from various spectrum from within Accenture and interactions with external Clients from time to time
  • Working as Accenture’s custodian with respect to various risks in Client contracts including bringing issues to Legal Leadership when applicable and helping business develop/implement mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of the risk including taking judgment-based decision on risks and mitigations with limited supervision
  • Assist the Leadership team in coordination of certain deals or type of work as required and collaborate with other stakeholders and leadership in a highly autonomous manner
  • Coaching and mentoring Contracting professionals as required in order to develop technical skills
  • Collaborate on the preparation and delivery of training for the Contracting team members
  • Actively participate in Legal global activities and initiatives and/or internal clients and stakeholders’ initiatives
