Requirements

  • JD and membership in at least one US state bar
  • 1-3 years legal experience as in-house counsel or at a law firm
  • Experience with SaaS transactions and negotiating MSAs, subscription agreements, services agreements, etc
  • Experience with global data protection laws and negotiating DPAs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and an ability to understand and address legal issues from a commercial perspective
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate customer agreements to facilitate efficient commercial transactions
  • Draft and update contract templates to align with current business requirements and regulatory standards
  • Review and negotiate vendor agreements to mitigate risk and align with internal policies
  • Support contract lifecycle management as needed
  • Support General Counsel in managing corporate governance and compliance matters
