Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing initiatives in production
Demonstrated track record in process improvement, conflict resolution, process design, and change management
Ability to effectively provide facilitation, group training, and stand-up presentations to associates on Lean, DMAIC tools, and related topics
Ability to analyze complex manufacturing data and propose changes leading to higher efficiency and safety
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to work with others at all levels as a team player and team leader
Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities
Analyze production plans on a daily basis and coordinate resources to meet objectives and schedules in production lines
Facilitate kaizen events and other lean initiatives such as 5S, one-piece flow, standardized work, and Kanban
Utilize knowledge of value stream analysis, project management, data collection and analysis, and development/implementation of process improvements to drive change
Perform workplace audits and streamline processes within area of responsibility
Provide training and coaching for project sponsors, leaders, and teammates on Lean leadership, managing culture change through conflict resolution, empowering the workforce, and sustaining improvements using simple Lean tools
Lead project teams to deliver project cost, quality, and time objectives
Report on project progress to process owners and appropriate leadership at regular intervals
Monitor task completion, ensure good performance, and record in appropriate systems
Support the business in establishing “best practices.”
Consistently promote high standards through personal example and team rollout, ensuring understanding of expected standards and behaviors
Support, comply with, and ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards/regulations, as well as other company policies and procedures
