Requirements

8+ years of experience in micron-level precision CNC machining, automation, or process development
Deep technical fluency in multi-axis milling (3-, 4-, and 5-axis)
Experience developing, tuning, or troubleshooting post-processors or control drivers for G- and M-code generation
Proven experience integrating automation or robotics into machining workflows
Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC), process validation, and manufacturing scalability
Systems-thinking approach to design, manufacturing, and inspection
Comfort working in an agile, fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Own CNC process development for patient-specific dental components
Design and validate machining workflows for multi-axis mills
Integrate automation systems into CNC workflows
Optimize toolpaths, feeds, speeds, and cutting strategies
Develop and document process standards
Collaborate with R&D and design teams to improve manufacturability
Lead root cause analysis and yield improvement
Work cross-functionally with software, automation, and quality teams
Scout and qualify new technologies
Work with industrial automation vendors to design milling automation solutions
