A minimum of 2 years of experience creating web and paid media content (landing pages, Google/LinkedIn ads) with a performance mindset (CTR/CVR/CPL) is required. Additionally, 2+ years of writing for a B2B technology company, preferably in cybersecurity, is necessary. Demonstrated experience in A/B testing copy and working with analytics dashboards (e.g., GA4, Looker, Optimizely, VWO) is essential. Fluency in collaborating with performance marketing, PMM, and Digital Web Experience teams, along with the ability to work in Figma and CMSes, is required. Experience guiding AI-assisted ideation while safeguarding voice and accuracy is also expected.
The Content Marketing Manager will own conversion-focused web copy for 1Password.com, including the home page, campaigns, and landing pages, from brief to delivery, ensuring message-to-visual alignment with Creative and Digital Web Experience teams. They will write, test, and iterate paid media copy (search, display, paid social, video) with the performance team, producing multiple variants per asset with clear hypotheses. Collaboration with SEO and Analytics teams for A/B testing headlines/CTAs, interpreting performance data, and scaling successful treatments is expected. The role involves translating complex security and identity concepts into simple, human benefits for diverse buyer personas and contributing to message maps and page briefs. Maintaining and evolving brand voice across short-form content surfaces and partnering with designers in Figma to prototype copy in context are also key responsibilities. Documenting and socializing copy guidelines for web/ads will be part of the role.
