Requirements

Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in content writing, UX writing, or technical writing. Hands-on experience with Pendo or comparable in-app messaging platforms is required, along with strong writing and editing skills, an understanding of user experience principles, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Experience in SaaS environments, familiarity with content management tools, basic HTML/CSS, and experience with analytics or A/B testing tools are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Product Content Specialist will own the creation, deployment, and maintenance of in-app messaging, including tooltips, onboarding walkthroughs, surveys, and feature announcements. They will partner with product managers, user learning, and product design teams to plan and prioritize messaging needs, using Pendo analytics to measure engagement and drive improvements. Additionally, they will write and maintain user-facing documentation such as knowledge base articles, how-to guides, and FAQs, collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate new features into clear content, and help draft release notes and change logs. The role involves ensuring content consistency across platforms, advocating for clear language, and contributing to content standards.
