Position Overview

This role is responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction through post-opening validation, ensuring adherence to brand standards, budget goals, and project timelines. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, organized, and driven individual capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all project schedules by tracking remodel work based on defined critical path project timelines.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates by entering date and schedule information within Inspire Brands’ tracking system, resulting in credible and reliable forecasting while meeting or exceeding budget goals.
  • Take a proactive stance in design drawing review to ensure quality control and adherence to Brand-specific design and construction standards.
  • Facilitate interactions with Support Service partners to activate/facilitate approvals from the brand, operators, or initiatives as needed.
  • Lead on managing project level during the pre-construction phase, bidding, buyout, construction, and schedule management.
  • Assist in setting processes and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exhibit a strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, taking the lead and driving growth with adaptability and high responsiveness.
  • Complete all post-opening construction validation and conformance to standards process pieces to bring projects to contractual closure.
  • Site travel for strategic projects and meetings with the potential for overnights as necessary.

Education and Experience Qualifications

  • Required: 2-Year Degree
  • Preferred: 4-Year Degree
  • Required: 5 years of experience in general construction (non-residential) and construction project management.
  • Preferred: 10 years of experience in restaurant/retail construction management in a Franchise Organization.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experienced in project management (construction).
  • Detailed knowledge of supporting technology: budgeting, estimating, scheduling.
  • Strong relationship and influencing skills.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Working knowledge of building codes, ADA, federal and state requirements.
  • Ability to navigate/work with regulatory agencies.
  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivated with a tenacious attitude for solving problems.
  • Persistent, detailed, and able to report clearly and accurately.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ability to determine the key steps in a complex process to advance projects.
