A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with 5 years of relevant project management, construction management, or healthcare industry experience. A deep understanding of infection control risk assessments, permitting, procedures, production, and schedule impact is required. Advanced understanding of contract language and its effect on project risk is necessary. Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and construction industry practices are also required. Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software is preferred.
The Construction Manager will partner with Finance, Sales, and Service teams to manage 3rd party installation margin profiles and work with Global Sourcing to manage the Installation category supply base design. They will mature the Strategic installer program, manage installer relationships, and lead the cross-functional Governance Board to ensure project alignment with quality and regulatory processes. The role involves directing and leading the downstream low-voltage installation request for proposal (RFP) and bid process, preparing scope of work documents, and implementing, auditing, and supervising program documentation. Responsibilities include confirming subcontractor insurance, taxes, licensures, and bonding requirements, providing performance feedback to 3rd party installers, and partnering with Data Analysts to drive business decisions. The Construction Manager will lead Executive Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews, create and implement a 'make vs. buy' installer selection process, and conduct customer site visits to ensure project adherence to regulatory requirements.
