Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience from a technical school with a four-year program. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the steel fabrication industry is required, along with knowledge of AISC, AWS, ASTM, and OSHA regulations. Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to interpret instructions and apply basic geometry and trigonometry. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Google Suite is necessary, and the ability to read and speak English is mandatory. Willingness to travel for training and job site visits is also required.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will manage customer projects by coordinating with internal departments and providing external customers with information and support. They will offer operational direction and guidance for bridge product production from sale to contract close-out, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Key duties include developing customer relationships, coordinating project schedules with drafting and production, reviewing purchase orders and contracts, maintaining communication records, responding to information requests, researching change orders, processing back charges, resolving claims with management approval, attending job site meetings, and preparing reports.
