Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in construction cost estimating, and 2+ years of on-site healthcare construction experience. Preferred experience includes estimating in healthcare construction, IT healthcare low-voltage industry or similar, and successfully leading pursuits valued at up to $20 million in various delivery methods.
Responsibilities
The Senior Construction Estimator will partner with internal and external teams to capture installation scope on complex projects ($1M - $10M), create and lead nationwide 3rd party low-voltage installation pricing efforts, secure competitive pricing and partners, lead the installation bid process including RFP development and evaluation, conduct detailed analysis of contract documents, develop conceptual estimate proposal submissions, coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, identify and solve process gaps to improve bids, conduct customer site visits and site walks to ensure regulatory compliance, and travel up to 30% to customer locations.
