Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess 6+ years of hands-on compensation experience, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth company. Strong expertise in incentive design, job analysis, benchmarking, and compensation philosophies is required, along with a deep understanding of sales and variable compensation structures. Proficiency with compensation tools such as Radford and Pave, advanced Excel/Sheets modeling skills, and exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities are essential. Candidates must also demonstrate a proven track record of owning compensation planning cycles and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Additionally, team members must be within commuting distance of our New York City, NY, or San Francisco, CA hubs.

Responsibilities

The Compensation Lead will serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Finance, and People Business Partners, designing and executing compensation frameworks aligned with business goals. Responsibilities include performing market benchmarking to recommend job levels and pay ranges, ensuring compensation plans are equitable, compliant, and fiscally sound, and leading semi-annual compensation cycles. The role also involves owning and managing compensation systems and tools, analyzing pay outcomes with People Analytics to ensure equitable pay, and training leaders and managers on compensation principles. Furthermore, the Compensation Lead will analyze compensation program performance, identify trends, and recommend data-driven improvements.
