Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses 4+ years of experience in compensation, people analytics, or a related field. Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is required, along with familiarity with compensation survey data and job leveling frameworks. Experience managing compensation and equity platforms like Carta and Pave is essential. Strong attention to detail, process orientation, excellent communication skills, and comfort with confidential data are also necessary. Experience with data visualization tools or SQL is a plus, as is prior experience in high-growth or pre-IPO environments.

Responsibilities

The Compensation Manager will execute and scale compensation processes, including salary and equity reviews and job benchmarking. They will collaborate with Finance on budgeting and headcount planning, and with People Business Partners on compensation decisions. Responsibilities include building and maintaining equity burn models, managing compensation and equity systems, and conducting data analysis to support compensation decisions. The role also involves owning daily compensation operations, supporting the implementation of new compensation tools and workflows, building dashboards for people analytics, and assisting with compensation-related audits and compliance.
