The Communications Strategist will lead and develop communication strategies, overseeing project sites and managing public and participant communications. This includes maintaining and updating project sites like product websites and wikis, leading public communications such as newsletters, advising on Open Source and Co-Design/Planning communications for consistent voice and tone, and creating content for newsletters, websites, and social media. The role involves working with vendors and peer contractors to coordinate overall project communications, supporting outreach and reviewing presentation materials, and facilitating Community of Practice meetings to understand needs and foster collaboration. Responsibilities also include creating consistent content strategies across various mediums, ensuring content production aligns with standards and values, providing guidance to improve content models and workflows, advising on user research-based content design, collaborating with teams using Agile methodologies, and leading writing and editing efforts for various communications.
