Candidates should have experience in construction management roles such as Asset Manager, Construction Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer, with a strong preference for those with technology experience or Procore platform usage. Essential skills include problem-solving, analytical abilities, active listening, confidence, curiosity, and the capacity to establish credibility with diverse audiences from foremen to executives. Prior pre-sales support experience is preferred but not required.
The Commercial Solutions Engineer will partner with Account Executives to provide technical expertise during the sales process, supplementing demonstrations with deep knowledge of Procore's cloud-based software and platform. Responsibilities include acting as the expert voice, answering RFPs, collaborating with Customer Success, Implementation, Marketing, and Product teams, and positioning Procore as a leading construction software solution. Key duties involve owning pre-sales technical support, addressing prospect technical challenges to close new business, enabling Account Executives through training, and maintaining mastery of Procore's offerings and related technologies.
