Requirements

Four-year college degree or equivalent, major in Business or related fields
Ten years specialized lending experience
Ability to operate keypad device (25% of week), electronic equipment (20% of week), office equipment (5% of week)
Ability to travel (50% of week), including by car to customers, construction sites, land developments, and out-of-state
Physical capabilities: use of fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists, elbows, legs, lower/upper torso, feet; standing, sitting, walking; manual dexterity for typing/data entry (up to 25% of day); close vision (18”-20” for computer work)
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as a team player

Responsibilities

Interview customers/prospective customers and prepare documentation for commercial loans, including collecting/analyzing financial data for loan structure and presentation to loan committee
Maintain aggressive commercial calling program for new/existing customers
Assist other Bankers in governmental lending programs
Attend/participate in community affairs to promote bank’s image
Review final loan documentation and determine appropriate recommendations
Assume responsibility for complex accounts and provide training/guidelines to less experienced Bankers
Carry out business development activities to identify bank prospects
Ensure compliance with loan policies/procedures and assist in policy development/modification
Work with customers to establish personalized Treasury Management services
Receive/respond to customer questions and solve problems
Review Collateral Protection Reports and determine appropriate action
Monitor/document performance of existing loan portfolio via call memos, site visits, financial reviews, credit quality reports
Contact delinquent loan customers
Maintain good working relationships with bank employees
Assume additional responsibilities as required
