Position Overview

Grafana Labs is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to drive new business growth within the ASEAN region. This role involves prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities with new customers, managing sales forecasts, and maintaining customer data. The ideal candidate will utilize a consultative sales approach, prioritizing understanding customer needs before presenting product solutions. A technical background and prior experience selling technical products are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and engage new customers.
  • Manage all stages of the sales process, including:
    • Prospecting
    • Sales meetings
    • Product demonstrations
    • Proofs of concept
    • Proposal creation
    • Negotiations
  • Cultivate sales through both outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the value proposition of both Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise.
  • Maintain expertise in managing the sales pipeline within Salesforce.
  • Handle quote creation, order processing, and address day-to-day customer requests.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technology Sales.
  • Performance: Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment (top 10% performer).
  • Personality: Energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, and tenacious team player.
  • Adaptability: Experience in high-velocity technology companies.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using Salesforce.
  • Open Source Knowledge: Familiarity with open source technology is a significant advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills across all channels (in-person, online, and in writing) and the ability to build strong working relationships virtually and in person.
  • Sales Methodology: Experience using Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is ideal.
