Candidates should possess 3+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technology Sales, a demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a competitive environment (top 10% performer), and be energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, and tenacious. They should also be adaptable with experience in high-velocity technology companies, proficient in using Salesforce, and familiar with open source technology, exhibiting excellent communication skills across various channels and ideally possessing experience with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC.
The Commercial Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business across the West Coast Region of the US, identifying and nurturing opportunities with both new and existing customers, managing forecasts and tracking customer data. They will also cultivate sales through outbound prospecting and inbound leads, understand and convey the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise, become an expert in managing the sales pipeline in Salesforce, manage quote creation, order processing, and daily customer requests, and work with customers during the trial phase, handing off a strong relationship to the Customer Success team.
