Description: Procore is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to acquire new strategic mid-sized customers and grow revenue through new product sales. This role focuses on new account acquisition, involving lead follow-up, prospecting, solution selling, negotiation, and closing. The position reports into the Manager, Commercial Sales and can be based remotely or in Austin, TX, Tampa, FL, or Carpinteria, CA. This is an ongoing, open requisition.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of demonstrated successful software sales, preferably B2B.
  • Sales Methodology: Proven experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology.
  • Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email.
  • Work Environment: Ability and resilience to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Pipeline Management: Proven ability to build and manage a sales pipeline and forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop territory and account plans for new prospects.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
  • Obtain business requirements to close new logo business.
  • Partner with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Solution Engineers (SEs) to create and close new logo opportunities.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts.
  • Provide sales management with reports on sales activities and projects.
  • Pursue an increased knowledge of key competitors.
  • Manage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities, and account information within Salesforce.com.
  • Networking, relationship building, cold calling, lead follow-up through emails, product demonstrations, and execution of service agreements.

  • Base Pay Range: $47 - $65 hourly
