Candidates should possess 5+ years of demonstrated successful software sales experience, preferably B2B, and experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology. Proven ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email with customers, along with resilience to work in a fast-paced sales environment and the ability to build and manage a sales pipeline.
The Commercial Account Executive will develop territory and account plans for new prospects, research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and obtain business requirements to close new logo business and achieve or exceed quarterly and annual targets. They will partner with Sales Development and Solution Engineer teams to create and close new logo opportunities, maintain accurate forecasts, provide sales management with reports, pursue increased knowledge of key competitors, manage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities, and account information within Salesforce.com, and network, build relationships, and conduct cold calling and lead follow-up through emails, product demonstrations, and execution of service agreements.
