This role offers the opportunity to manage the entire sales cycle for existing customers, focusing on retention, identifying expansion opportunities, and executing upsell and cross-sell strategies. You will present Remote's services, build strategic partnerships, and nurture customer relationships. The position involves understanding and designing solutions for small and mid-sized businesses' communication needs, leading customer retention initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success and business growth.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability in retaining and growing existing accounts, driving net new expansion bookings, and upselling/cross-selling.
  • Proven success in building key customer relationships across various levels, including decision-makers, champions, and C-level stakeholders.
  • Proactive communication with key customer contacts to understand needs, build strategic roadmaps, and gather feedback.
  • Ability to create and execute sales motions and tactics to consistently grow revenue per account.
  • Capability to create, execute, and adapt proactive client strategies to achieve goals.
  • Proficiency in developing pipeline, forecasting outcomes, and providing accurate reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes.
  • Ability to learn complex product solutions and a eagerness to develop new skills.
  • Understanding of Remote’s services and industry position.
  • 5+ years of Account Management experience, or related SaaS sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business fluency in English is essential.
  • Highly self-motivated with ambitions for a closing role.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Resilience, perseverance, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales quota based on role level and manage the entire sales cycle for a book of business.
  • Identify new expansion, upsell, and cross-sell business opportunities and drive them through the sales motion and cycle.
  • Present Remote’s suite of services to existing customers and create opportunities for upselling solutions.
  • Own the customer relationship and complete the cycle from sale to business completion.
  • Maintain frequent contact with customers and build strategic partnerships.
  • Design solutions tailored to the unique communication needs of small and mid-sized businesses.
  • Lead customer retention initiatives, participate in strategic events, and lead discussions to deepen relationships.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success.
