Requirements
Valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification (required and must be maintained in good standing)
In Florida, qualifier certification through the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for retail propane oversight
Yearly certification for a forklift license (BJ’s covers applicable costs and training)
At least 18 years old (for 401(k) eligibility)
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction within the club, driving club performance, particularly for directly managed departments
Lead the Assistant Closing Manager, Recovery team, and Utility team, providing guidance, support, and oversight for effective performance
Maintain policies and procedures
Deliver a positive service experience to members
Provide Grand Opening Look Daily (GOLD) standards club conditions
Assist in audit compliance efforts
Drive collaboration with Business Partners (BPs)
Oversee onboarding, certification, and training to ensure food safety and operational excellence
Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed, taking full responsibility for club operations, team leadership, and Member engagement during assigned shifts
