Requirements

Field-based position supporting Abbott’s Vascular division in Portland, OR, with focus on vessel closure products
Ability to serve as technical procedure and product expert in hospital settings (e.g., Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, Operating Room)
Focus on Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and hospital staff for small and large bore arterial/venous vessel closure portfolio
Capability to meet with existing and potential customers (e.g., physicians, hospital staff) to identify needs and demonstrate products
Skills in developing relationships with hospital personnel, making new contacts, and identifying key decision makers
Proficiency in providing clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education
Experience educating customers via presentations and demonstrations using various formats (e.g., slides, manuals)
Ability to attend clinical procedures to ensure customer and patient success
Competence in responding to customer needs/complaints with creative solutions or collaboration

Responsibilities

Provide case planning, case support coverage, and product pull-through in designated territory and region as needed
Promote Vascular products through education, service, and training in hospital settings to achieve sales goals, increase revenues, and market share
Serve as primary resource for clinical support during case coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education
Educate customers on product merits, proper usage, latest developments, therapies, and industry updates
Attend clinical procedures to support customer and patient success with Vascular products
Meet with customers to identify clinical needs, goals, constraints, and demonstrate how products address them
Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision makers
Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service
