Requirements

Candidates should have experience in clinical trial and commercial case support, trial enrollment, and education initiatives. A strong understanding of TAVI clinical and commercial product portfolios, procedures, and therapies is necessary. The ability to travel more than 50% is also required, and candidates must successfully complete internal training plans covering hemodynamics, ECG, angiography, echo, and CT imaging modalities, as well as case support and proctor delegate authorizations.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Sales Specialist will provide TAVI clinical trial and commercial case support, focusing on trial enrollment and education for designated accounts. They will collaborate with the Territory Manager and Regional Sales Director to educate interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and cath lab personnel on the safe and effective use of Abbott TAVI products. Responsibilities include demonstrating expertise with the product portfolio, procedure, and therapy to achieve optimal patient outcomes, advance clinical evidence, and increase market share. This involves providing sterile case support, performing TAVI valve loading, offering CT valve sizing analysis using the Pie Medical 3Mensio CT program, engaging in trial site activities, leading customer didactic education sessions, and conducting pre-case planning and post-procedure debriefings.
