Candidates must possess a BS degree in Nursing or Business, with at least 3 years of in-depth clinical nursing experience, preferably in Critical Care or a specialty area with extensive knowledge of I.V. therapy. An active RN license or equivalent experience is required, along with excellent clinical education and in-servicing skills, outstanding communication and presentation abilities, and a strong professional presence. The role demands the ability to work independently in evolving environments, demonstrating proficiency in time management, flexibility, tolerance for ambiguity, and a strong process orientation. A high comfort level with technology and nursing informatics concepts is essential, as is the ability to travel up to 80% and be based within an hour of a major airport, possessing a valid Driver's License.
The Clinical Education Specialist will execute clinical implementation and integration tasks at key Baxter customer sites, building and deepening relationships with clinical staff and nursing educators through a consultative approach. They will focus on the safe and effective use of infusion pump technology, clinical change management, and product expertise, maintaining expert knowledge of Baxter's Infusion Therapy products and integrated solutions. Responsibilities include supervising and delivering product training and integration objectives using defined processes, eLearning, on-site training, collateral materials, and follow-up. The specialist will apply education, product, and clinical knowledge to troubleshoot problems and ensure the adoption of new technology, sharing insights and feedback with teams and cross-functional partners to inform priorities and changes.
