Preferred qualifications include sales support experience in healthcare, particularly oncology or pathology, with a history of proven performance, or general clinical experience. The ability to quickly learn genomic and oncology information, work independently, communicate proactively, manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines is essential. Excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, strong administrative skills, and a demonstrated understanding of organizational growth dynamics are also required.
The Clinical Account Associate will support the Clinical Account Executive in client acquisition and retention strategies, collaborating with sales teams to achieve company goals. Responsibilities include identifying upsell opportunities for Tempus algorithmic tests and add-ons with existing clients, driving customer adoption of the Tempus Hub and EMR integrations, and developing partnerships with prospective oncology clients. The role involves promoting and ensuring compliance with web-based molecular information tools, analyzing the competitive landscape, monitoring sales performance, and developing a comprehensive territory business plan. Additionally, the associate will build and maintain relationships with physicians, office staff, and pathology departments to drive clinical orders and ensure smooth specimen processing, maintaining regular communication with targeted accounts and coordinating medical affairs report reviews. The role also includes managing order kit and literature replenishment, attending approved local conferences, and obtaining necessary clinical data from accounts.
