Position Overview

As a Client Manager on the NIQ Retail Team, you will work directly with a key retail client to implement robust NIQ solutions. Your role will involve assisting clients in navigating complex business challenges by providing insightful, actionable NIQ recommendations with confidence. This is a remote-based role requiring candidates to be physically located within the U.S.


Responsibilities

  • Establish NIQ as an indispensable insights partner and thought leader for clients.
  • Build sustainable client relationships by delivering everyday value and enabling client success through data, tools, and insights.
  • Become a trusted advisor to clients, helping them achieve their business imperatives.
  • Train and consult clients on conducting analytics using NIQ tools and data sets to democratize insights and drive business decisions.
  • Independently complete analyses using NIQ tools and data to develop insights that drive client outcomes.
  • Identify potential revenue opportunities and risks with assigned clients and lead internal teams to drive sales.
  • Develop expertise and advise clients on industry trends, participating in client discussions and presentations.
  • Elevate the Voice of the Customer to shape the company's vision.
  • Collaborate across NIQ teams to drive the adoption of NIQ assets with clients.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to identify and advise clients on business solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years' experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, Consulting, or Analytics industries.
    • Experience with syndicated data.
    • Experience in a client service environment with a proven ability to develop, maintain, and grow client relationships.
    • Retail or Manufacturing background (e.g., Retail Merchandising, Category Management, Operations) is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software, with advanced Excel skills.
    • Strong analytical aptitude, curiosity, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
    • Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in complex situations.
    • Experience utilizing multiple and complex data sets for problem-solving.
    • Skillful communication and collaboration with internal and external teams.
    • Strong sense of autonomy, urgency, and accountability to delight clients.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree Required.
