Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably at the Director level or above
  • Experience leading HR strategy across complex, matrixed organizations — ideally in a holding company or multi-brand corporate structure
  • Experience supporting corporate functions such as Finance, Legal, People, and Communications, and navigating competing priorities
  • Sharp program management skills to operationalize strategy
  • Proven ability to build trust with executive leaders while advocating for scalable, employee-first solutions
  • Known for balancing business objectives with empathy, equity, and transparency
  • Successfully led teams through periods of change, ambiguity, and organizational restructuring
  • Grounded in data to guide decision-making, influence leaders, and measure impact
  • Successfully supported both high-growth and stabilizing teams, adjusting HR playbook accordingly
  • Confident navigating executive personalities, managing up, and pushing back with data and diplomacy
  • Understanding of nuances in publicly traded or highly regulated companies
  • Led org design conversations that resulted in effective outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Serve as strategic HR partner and thought partner to executive leadership across Central teams (CFO, CLO, COO, CHRO, CEO-level)
  • Champion company culture, standards, and practices
  • Design and lead scalable programs around performance management, engagement, talent development, and succession planning in collaboration with central team and business partners
  • Drive change management strategies for major org shifts, restructures, or leadership transitions, ensuring clarity, continuity, and minimal disruption
  • Lead and mentor a small team of HRBPs while being hands-on when needed
  • Act as thought partner to the Chief People Officer and cross-functional HR leaders on people priorities and initiatives
  • Analyze engagement surveys and people data to identify risks, trends, opportunities, and create proactive action plans
  • Navigate employee relations issues with fairness, discretion, alignment to company values, and legal guidance
  • Partner closely with DEI, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition to ensure holistic and inclusive HR strategies
  • Facilitate leadership offsites, talent reviews, and organizational health assessments
  • Develop playbooks and toolkits to empower people managers
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to align HR practices with laws, regulations, and internal governance
  • Collaborate effectively with other functional leaders to optimize cross-functional activities and support objectives
