Clear understanding of all BJ’s Membership options, including the importance of renewals, upgrading to BJ’s Loyalty programs
Ability to offer appropriate membership products such as membership renewal, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemption
Knowledge of how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department

Responsibilities
Process Member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products
Scan merchandise and accept various forms of payments using a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts and purchase totals
Provide excellent member service in an efficient and productive manner
Check Members out in a timely and efficient manner
Fill shopping carts when necessary and assist Members
Maintain the overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Deliver service excellence, resolve and deescalate member concerns, and ensure a safe and positive environment
Support club policies, procedures, and compliance; act with honesty, integrity, and accountability
Embrace inclusion and diversity; work to achieve goals and deliver GOLD club standards daily (Grand opening look, stocked items, promotional plans executed, accurate signage, clean and organized)
Carry out job functions as assigned and escalate concerns as appropriate
