Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of National Freight Brokers and Leads, ensuring performance targets are met
  • Actively contribute to carrier sales by negotiating rates, covering loads, and building relationships
  • Oversee the launch and operational setup of a new Total Logistics location, including staffing, infrastructure, and compliance
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow carrier networks and improve gross profit margins
  • Monitor team KPIs including call volumes, load coverage, and carrier relationships
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align logistics operations with company goals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations
  • Provide coaching, training, and career development for team members
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to maintain competitive advantage
