Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical sales, with strong territory ownership experience being highly preferred. Prior experience in cardiology, rare diseases, or specialty products is desirable, along with experience in launching specialty products.
As a Cardiovascular Account Specialist, you will introduce Cytokinetics in your territory and launch its first commercial product for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), driving sales results and serving as a single point of accountability. You will develop territory-specific account plans, identify and build relationships with strategic IDNs and hospitals, and serve as a subject matter expert, communicating approved resources to healthcare professionals and focusing on creating demand for the product launch.
Develops drugs for muscle function disorders
Cytokinetics focuses on developing medicines that improve muscle function for patients with cardiovascular and neuromuscular diseases. Their products are small molecule drugs designed to either enhance or inhibit muscle function, tailored to specific therapeutic needs. The company has a pipeline of drugs, including omecamtiv mecarbil and reldesemtiv, which are in various stages of clinical trials.
