Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous direct experience with reservations/sales and/or customer service preferred
  • Professional communication skills
  • Proficient computer and interpersonal skills
  • Technical skills and understanding of Intopia, SMS, RTP, AMP; ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with web-browsing software
  • Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls without interruption in a positive and fresh manner representing the Ikon Pass brand voice
  • Mature, dependable, flexible, team-oriented person able to stay calm under pressure
  • Self-motivated

Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with quality customer service in a friendly and positive manner
  • Understand and develop in-depth knowledge of products offered (e.g., Sugarbush Lodging, Season Passes, daily tickets, Rental Equipment, Ski School, Resort Events and Activities)
  • Cover an 8-hour shift on phones (sometimes longer during holidays and peak periods)
  • Actively participate in all assigned daily duties, including fulfilling online sales orders and assisting guests via telephone, Live-Chat, email, or other written communications
  • Provide resort and local information to guests; assess needs and recommend best products
  • Check voicemails and emails promptly and respond within 24 hours
  • Resolve guest complaints, handle concerns, and communicate options
  • Adhere to all departmental and company policies and procedures; participate in training and development courses
  • Other duties as assigned
