Requirements

  • +9 years’ experience in account management/sales/marketing/licensing/retail is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably marketing or business commerce
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Good analytical skill and understanding of business and financial concepts
  • People management skill
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Korean, with strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution ability and commercial acumen
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective at managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, matrixed environments
  • Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Results-driven, proactive, and a collaborative team player
  • Passionate about the Disney brand and building strong internal/external relationships

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with existing licensees and nurture them to grow further. Also identify new business opportunities and develop potential partners to solidify the licensee base
  • Develop local market category plan for Softlines category (Home & Stationery) in line with regional strategy & plan
  • Lead the commercial management of a series of existing accounts to achieve the yearly business (financial) target as well as strategic initiatives that the company pursues
  • Take the lead of several projects as needed and manage specific licensees with full understanding of Disney business standards and respective category needs
  • Collaborate with retail, marketing team and other line of business to support sales promotion, events and advertising in the local market
  • Work with buyers from key retail accounts to develop business opportunities, managing product sourcing, mix / range, pricing and new programs specific to each retailer’s shopping profile
  • Drive strategic upskilling of the sales team through targeted training and development aligned with business goals and market dynamics
  • Develop and execute long term strategies
  • Lead the commercial management of a series of existing wholesale accounts, made up of some of the largest licensees in the industry
  • Evaluate licensee base and drive a rationalization plan to ensure effective and focused business management and strategic planning to support growth across categories
